What
if my loved one goes to work I'm sure all spouses of law enforcement officers have had this horrendous thought at some point during the first year of marriage. Unfortunately, many families have actually lost loved ones on the job, killed in the line of duty. Those of us lucky enough to kiss our spouse good night - or good morning, depending on the shift - cannot even imagine what these families are going through. Handcuffed Hearts has a strong mission: to mail cards to these families in order to offer condolensces, support, and encouragement. Whenever news of a line of duty death reaches Handcuffed Hearts, a card is ready. Sadly, mailing cards to families of lost law enforcement officers is a daunting task.
