Russian Teacakes
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
Cream butter, powdered sugar and
vanilla. Add flour, salt and nuts. Chill dough until firm and
workable. Roll dought into small balls and bake at 400 degrees
for 10-12 minutes (until golden but NOT brown). Let cool, then
roll in powdered sugar.
