Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is my mom's chocolate chip cookie recipe, and I have never found a better recipe than this one!!

2 c. Crisco (if you don't have Crisco, I've used oil, too, and it works pretty good in a pinch)
2 c. White sugar
1 c. Brown sugar
4 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
Beat together then add:
4 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
2 tsp. salt
2 c. Chocolate chips (an 8 oz. pkg. works perfect)

Drop by teaspoon fulls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, bake 10- 12 minutes at 350 degrees. The recipe says it's supposed to make 8 dozen, but I must make mine too big, cuz I NEVER get that many!! :) They are wonderful when they are warm, and when they cool off, they are flaky and scrumptious!!
