Frito Chili Pie Casserole

3 cups corn chips
1 large onion, chopped
1 can (19 ounces) chili
1 cup grated American cheese

Place 2 cups of corn chips into a baking dish. Arrange chopped onion and half of grated cheese on the corn chips. Pour chili over onion and cheese. Top with remaining corn chips and grated cheese. Bake at 350* for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.

(Optional: Try adding sour cream to the finished dish! That is the way my LEO likes it!)
